Sou is built by a small team in Barcelona, trading as EQUANIMITIES, S.L. (CIF B75465542). It came out of founder Hannes Jersenius’ own years-long search for a way to stay present through a demanding, distracted life. Our first production was funded by friends and family as well as a community of 313 backers on Kickstarter.

Sou is manufactured in partnership with Acrivia, an experienced end-to-end production partner with US and China-based operations. There’s no screen, no session, no log to check — just a reminder, built into something you already wear. It’s not a calmer way to track your stress. It’s a way to stop needing to.

A small pulse inside the pebble gives you a smooth, brief vibration at 30–60 min intervals (randomised) throughout the day — close enough together to stay with you, spaced out enough that it never feels routine. You don’t set anything. It just happens.

Yes. The same pebble clasps onto a bracelet, anklet, or necklace strap, and the straps are exchangeable. Wear it wherever it fits naturally into your day, and switch it up whenever you want.

No. Sou is not a medical device, and it isn’t a substitute for medical care, therapy, or treatment of any kind. It’s a presence reminder — a small physical nudge back to yourself, nothing more, nothing less.

Sou contains no wireless components: no Bluetooth, WiFi, or NFC, so there is no radio-frequency transmission. The only electronics inside are a small battery and a haptic motor. Sou carry both CE certification (EU) and FCC certification (US), including checks for electromagnetic compliance.

Yes. Sou is one pebble, worn three ways. When a strap wears out, you replace the strap, not the whole piece. The pebble itself is built to handle drops, scratches, and daily wear for years, not seasons.

Sou is currently on pre-sale — nothing has shipped yet. The first production batch ships an estimated October 2026, tracked, worldwide. Your 30-day return window starts the day it arrives, not the day you order. Check your order confirmation for the most current estimate for your specific order.

Yes, worldwide. We warehouse in the US and Spain, so shipping cost depends on where you’re ordering from relative to those two points. Shipping is free over €120 (EU) / $135 (US) / £110 (UK) / $175 (rest of world).

30 days to return, 2 years of warranty. Open the box and try it — if Sou isn’t for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of what you paid for the product (return shipping is yours unless the item is faulty).
